#24 Rob Brown - WHL record holder, over 500 games in the NHL at almost a point a game average.

How did he miss getting 50 goals in one NHL season? You'll love (or probably not) that story. Join Lolly and Mooner as they chatted with Rob Brown on the Top Cheddar Podcast.
Rob played four seasons in the Western Hockey League with Kamloops starting when he was just 15.  His final year with the Blazers (1986-87), Rob set a single season WHL record for most points with 212.  Two of the four years with Kamloops, they were WHL Champions.  He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fourth round of the 1986 NHL Draft.  Rob represented Canada at the 1988 World Junior Championships and brought home a gold medal.
As a 19-year old, Rob became a regular in the NHL with Pittsburgh.  In his second year with the Penguins, Rob had 115 points and 49 goals.  He also played in the NHL in Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas.
Now Rob is part of the Edmonton Oilers Radio broadcast on 630 CHED as an in-game analyst.  He also keeps very busy working at multiple hockey academies in the Edmonton Area as well as co-hosting a very popular summer Road Rage street hockey tournament in St. Albert, AB.
