#25 - Steve Passmore - WHL record holder and 13 year pro goalie
Lots of laugh and great stories with Steve Passmore.
Steve played goal in the Western Hockey League with Tri-City, Victoria and Kamloops from 1988-1994. During the 1991-92 season with the Victoria Cougars, Steve played in 71 of the 72 regular season games, setting a WHL record.
He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in 9th round of the 1992 National Hockey League Draft and his rights were traded to the Edmonton Oilers while he was still in junior. A trade in the WHL from Victoria to Kamloops, and Steve helped the Blazers to a Memorial Cup Championship in 1994.
Steve went on to a 13-year professional career. He played in the NHL with Edmonton, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He also spent time in Europe near the end of his hockey career.
Upon the conclusion of professional hockey, Steve got into the restaurant business and is now a financial advisor with Sun Life in Kamloops.
