Lots of laughs with our friend ‘Noodles’! Jamie McLennan joined Lolly and Mooner on the Top Cheddar podcast. Great memories, great stories that you’ll be howling at!

Growing up in St. Albert, Alberta, Jamie McLennan enjoyed a 17-year professional hockey career.  He played in the National Hockey League with the New York Islanders, St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild, Calgary Flames, New York Rangers and Florida Panthers.  He also spent time in the American Hockey League, International Hockey League, East Coast Hockey League, as well as in England, Russia and Japan.  He won the NHL’s 1997-98 Bill Masterton Trophy for sportsmanship, perseverance, and dedication to hockey.  McLennan is a Western Hockey League graduate, playing with the Spokane Chiefs and Lethbridge Hurricanes, winning the Del Wilson Goaltender of the Year Award in 1990-91.

After finishing his playing career, McLennan joined the coaching staff of the Calgary Flames.  He then got into broadcasting, working for TSN television and radio.  He co-hosts Overdrive, is also on multiple different shows, and provides colour commentary on Ottawa Senators television broadcasts.

Top Cheddar is hosted by Cam Moon (Mooner) & Rob LeLacheur (Lolly) who chat with those who have excelled in hockey and the world of business. The entertainment is plenty as we get to hear some terrific hockey stories from all of the different hockey leagues and some Stanley Cup tales for good measure.

In addition to the great hockey stories, we chat about the career(s) they've enjoyed since leaving the ice and we get to learn how hockey has helped them through their time in business and entrepreneurship.
