We were joined by Gerry Johannson, CEO of The Sports Corporation which ranks among the world's most successful hockey agencies. He and his agency represent Carey Price, Ryan Getzlaf, Brent Seabrook, Brayden Point, Johnny Boychuk, Milan Lucic, Mikko Koivu and many more. According to the most recent Forbes' 2019 agents list, he has negotiated nearly half a billion dollars in active contracts.
Prior to starting in the agency business, Gerry was a player for the New Westminster Bruins in the WHL and also spent time behind the bench as an Assistant Coach of the Tri-City Americans before moving into the world of sports agency.
