Corey Hirsch - NHL puck stopper, broadcaster and mental health champion
Corey Hirsch joined us on the Top Cheddar podcast and he shares his story of coming up in the WHL to the NHL and international scene.
His time with the Kamloops Blazers and winning the Memorial Cup, to the cup run with the New York Rangers, the Olympics and his time with the Canucks.
After retiring from active play, Hirsch became an NHL goaltending coach for elite NHL goaltenders and prospects for another six seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs and St Louis Blues. Corey has since transitioned from NHL coach to broadcaster where he currently works for Sportsnet 650 as the radio colour analyst covering the Vancouver Canucks.
Corey has also become a champion of mental health and is a public speaker and soon to be published author.
