Top Cheddar Episode 012 - Jason Smart - Raider, Blade, Penguin and a career in policing

Jason Smart played with the Prince Albert Raiders and Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League before embarking on a seven year professional hockey career. A draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1989, Jason tells us stories of playing Mike Modano in Prince Albert, playing minor pro, and trying to catch Mario Lemieux on the ice with the Penguins. After hockey, Jason became a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He’s over 20 years into that career, and he tells us stories from being a young constable to working his way up.
